Lactosan is launching a new tasty Cheese Powder type Edam

This Edam Cheese Powder is produced exclusively from cheese with microbial rennet which renders it vegetarian and thus Halal.

Edam originates from Holland

Originally, Edam is a Dutch cheese produced in and around the Dutch town of Edam.

Edam is made from cow’s milk. It is a semi-soft or hard, mild cheese with a relatively low fat content. Traditionally, the cheese is pressed in the shape of a ball and coated with red wax.

Edam is not a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Hence, Edam cheese is manufactured and sold in many places in the world.
