In the week of June 7th, we celebrated hashtag#WorldFoodSafetyDay2025 - a timely reminder that access to safe food is a basic human right. Organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), this year’s theme is “Food Safety: Science in Action”, emphasizing:
▪️ Helping businesses understand what makes food unsafe
▪️ Guiding how to prevent foodborne diseases
▪️ Highlighting the importance of scientific knowledge in reducing illness, cutting costs, and saving lives
At Lactosan, food safety is at the core of everything we do. From state-of-the-art technology to a strong food safety culture and continuous staff training, our Quality Department, led by Lene Frederiksen, ensures the highest standards in our cheese powder production.
🧀 To mark our commitment, we hosted a Food Safety Event featuring themed cakes and tasting samples showcasing our cheese powders in a fun internal competition!
